Pilling Tester

The Pilling Tester is used for evaluating a fabric's (or leather's) ability to resist abrasion or the pilling effect.  It is a bench top machine and is available in either single station or six station models.  Each station includes the upper test fixture with a suitable array of test weights.

Either version requires the operator to initially load the test samples, the abrasion material and desired test weights. Then the desired number of test cycles is entered on the cycle counter and the test is started.  Once this cycle count is reached, the machine will automatically stop.

The tester comes in three different varieties.  The first variation comes with the array of weights.  The second variation comes with a brush setup and the third variation has a foam pad setup.
