Bolster Tester
The Bolster Tester is a single station unit designed to run on 110VAC or 230VAC (single phase) to continuously rub against a seat or bolster. The unit meets ASTM XXXX.
The tester has angle adjustment and speed adjustment to allow proper operation with 50Hz or 60Hz power. The desired number of test cycles (rotations of the drum) are entered on the cycle counter and the test is started. Once this cycle count is reached the machine will automatically stop. Test samples are visually evaluated.

A 1/4 H.P. 480VAC, 3 phase motor with an internal voltage/phase converter and adjustable speed control.
Supply voltage is 115 V.A.C., 60 Hz (other voltages and frequencies available).
