Automotive Bed Liner Tester

This tester was designed to perform daily drop tests and periodic load tests for determining the strength of bed liners used in pickup trucks.  The system comprises fixtures to support the bed liner material that simulates the pickup truck bed and a gantry that allows the load cell or drop fixture to move to the desired location on the bed.  The system allows the user to program and save a test with up to 100 drop or load locations.

The drop fixture can support and drop up to 100 pounds and the load fixture can provide up to 1,000 pounds.  A position vs. force graph is produced for each point on the bed liner that is tested during the load test.  Data is saved for use in Excel and graphical results can be reloaded into the software and reprinted if necessary.
