GM Pliability Tester
The GM Pliability Tester is used by General Motors and it's suppliers for evaluating a material's overall pliability. It is a bench top, six station, single cycle test machine.
Initially, the operator folds six samples in half and inserts them edge-down into the six slots in the top of the round aluminum table. The table is then manually indexed until the desired sample is under the test head. Then the start button is momentarily pressed and the machine automatically runs through one cycle and stops. The numerical pliability value for that sample is read off of the weighted indicator and recorded.
